P-80 Emulsion IFC is a biodegradable, water-based temporary assembly lubricant formulated for installing tight-fitting rubber and plastic components in applications where incidental food contact may occur. It creates a thin lubricating film that reduces friction and the force required during assembly, helping protect components from tearing, pinching, or other installation damage.
Use P-80 Emulsion IFC when assembling pump seals, hoses, O-rings, bushings, gaskets, grommets, grips, fittings, and other close-fitting rubber or soft-plastic parts. It can be applied manually or through automated processes using dipping, brushing, or spraying methods. After assembly, the water evaporates and the temporary lubricity dissipates, allowing the installed component to return to a secure, non-slippery condition.
P-80 Emulsion IFC is NSF-registered as an H1 lubricant and meets FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 for lubricants used in incidental food-contact applications. It is well suited for food-processing equipment, pumps, appliances, seals, hoses, and related industrial assemblies where an approved temporary lubricant is required.
