P-80 THIX
P-80 THIX is a thickened, water-based temporary assembly lubricant designed for rubber, plastic, and elastomer components. Its thicker consistency helps the lubricant remain where it is applied, making it especially useful for vertical surfaces, overhead assembly, large components, and applications where a thinner liquid may run or drip away.
P-80 THIX provides lubricity during installation to help reduce friction, assembly force, component damage, and worker fatigue. It can be used when installing hoses, O-rings, seals, grommets, bushings, boots, sleeves, and other close-fitting rubber or plastic parts. As the water evaporates, the temporary slipperiness dissipates, allowing assembled components to remain securely positioned.
Available package sizes range from convenient 10 mL tubes for maintenance, testing, field service, and occasional use to larger bottles, gallon containers, five-gallon pails, drums, and industrial totes.
